Song Origin: Noise was the most last minute piece I decided to include in the album. My friends went home early and I ended up in Belfast drinking on my own waiting for my boyfriend to get off work. I was sitting at The Spaniard Bar writing in my journal and Cormac Neeson (songwriter and artist) happened to be next to me. We got chatting about songwriting and spontaneously collaborated on the beginning of Noise. The prompt we started with was, “listening to all of our noise and societies and how that affects us.” The chorus exemplifies how being in a vulnerable position can lead to self-doubt, but that you cannot let that inner noise stop you from achieving your hearts passions (Belfast, NI, U.K., 2018).
